The TASER X26 is the state of the art in electronic control devices. The X26 ECD (Electronic Control Device) uses a replaceable TASER cartridge containing a compressed nitrogen propulsion system to deploy two small probes. The TASER X26 transmits HEMI impulses through the wires tethering the probes into the target individual to provide incapacitation. The TASER X26 is an effective force option at distances from direct contact up to 35 feet (10.6 meters) away. The TASER X26 is currently the deployed HEMI device of choice within DoD and is type classified by the US Army. TASER technology is rapidly growing as an effective scalable force option for military interventions and application.

Neuro Muscular Incapacitation (NMI)

Human-Electro Muscular Incapacitation (HEMI), also called NMI, is the key technology to disable even the most aggressive subjects, NMI temporarily overrides the command and control systems of the body to impair muscular control.

Shaped Pulse™ Technology

A sophisticated pulse wave that utilizes a high voltage leading edge to penetrate barriers such as clothing around the body followed by a lower voltage stimulation pulse to cause Neuro Muscular Incapacitation.

Digital Pulse Control (DPC)

A digital controller that constantly adjusts the power throughout the TASER power supply system to maintain a consistent pulse rate (usually 19 pulses per second) across a broad spectrum of operating conditions. lt;/p>

TASER Cartridge

A replaceable module that allows for the engagement of targets at ranges up to 35 feet (10.6 meters). Integrates a nitrogen propulsion system, insulated TASER wire, probes, and AFID serialization. Compatible with both the TASER M and X models.

Anti-Felon Identification (AFID)

A system to deter misuse through enhanced accountability, AFID includes bar-coded serialization of each cartridge and disperses confetti-like ID tags upon activation.

Enhanced USB Dataport

Second generation dataport technology captures time and date of each device activation, as well as additional data such as duration of application, temperature, battery status, and automatic conversion from GMT to local time zones. Allows for plug-and-play download via USB connection.

LASER and Illuminator Integration

User configurable settings control LASER and low-intensity illumination synchronous with safety switch operation.

Digital Power Magazine (DPM™) Battery Pack

Integrated power source with lithium battery cells and solid state memory module for tracking power consumption, power levels remaining, and allows for software updates to be distributed via battery replacement.

Central Information Display (CID)

Digital display that communicates battery percentage, duration remaining during pulse discharge, time, and date.
