TASER CAM™ HD
The Truth in HD
The TASER CAM HD recorder interfaces with the TASER X2 CEW and X26p CEW to provide a full color video account of TASER incidents and protect officers from false complaints.
The TASER CAM HD was designed based on the feedback received from more than 50,000 TASER CAM recorders in the field today. Combining the same simple usability in a new compact package, the TASER CAM HD recorder for the X2 and X26p is the most amazing TASER CAM yet.

Features
Records HD 720p Color Video
Records more than 1 hour of audio and MPEG-4 video (Color) at the highest resolution setting (1280 x 720 30 FPS).
Robust Construction
Manufactured out of high impact plastic and IPX2 water resistant.
Rechargeable Power Supply
Rechargeable power supply compatible with all X2 and X26p CEWs. Over 100 firings per battery charge.
Visual Warning
Central Information Display (CID) provides a warning if the camera lens is blocked.
USB Download/Recharge
Unit comes complete with USB download cable and wall charger.
Replaceable Battery
The internal lithium-ion battery is field replaceable.
Auto-Record
Auto-record mode activates when the Safety Switch is moved to the up (ARMED) position. During the first second of video the device serial number, date and time are displayed.
Evidence Sync
Free Evidence Sync software allows for easy download and review of videos.
Optional Auto Shut-Down (AS)
The Auto Shut-Down Performance Power Magazine (APPM) is a modified TASER CEW battery which shuts down the high voltage output of the CEW after 5 seconds and which also contains a built in speaker that alerts the user to the impending shut down. The APPM provides an audible beeping alert for the last two seconds of a trigger activated firing cycle before automatically shutting down the device. The APPM has no impact on the functionality of the ARC switch.
The APPM is available for use in the TASER X2 and X26p CEWs only and is also available as an option for the new TASER CAM HD. The APPM feature of the TASER CAM HD Auto Shutdown (AS) has no impact on video and audio recording; however the audio alert will be captured on the recording and may distort any audio captured from the incident during the duration of the audio alert. As long as the Safety switch is in the up (ARMED) position, the TASER CAM HD AS will continue to capture your event.
