The TASER® C2™ Standard Issue Kit was created with the Professional Security officer in mind. This kit includes the TASER C2, a holster, and three cartridges. The TASER C2 is an Electronic Control Device (ECD) that uses similar technology as that of the TASER® X26™ law enforcement model and can be used for self-defense by Professional Security officers who need an added level of protection.

Overview

The TASER C2 Security Series is our newest product available to private security professionals. Utilizing the same technology as our proven law enforcement models, the TASER C2 has incredible take down power. This provides a reduction of operational risk in environments where security officers may have few options to protect themselves.

The TASER C2 is a self-defense electronic control device. ECDs use propelled wires to conduct energy to affect the sensory and motor functions of the nervous system. In addition, the TASER C2 can be used as a direct contact stun device. The TASER C2 uses a replaceable TASER® cartridge, containing compressed nitrogen, to deploy two small probes that are attached to the TASER C2 by insulated conductive wires with a maximum length of 15 feet (4.5 meters). The energy can penetrate up to two cumulative inches of clothing or one inch per probe.
