We're Ready for IACP
This is part one of a five-part series highlighting what TASER's thought leaders are most looking forward to at IACP. Rick Smith is TASER's CEO.
As you can probably guess, I'm excited for IACP. It's always a great time to meet with law enforcement leaders and hear directly from them about the technology that they need to make their lives easier and what we can do to improve our products.
And not to toot my own horn, but I'm also looking forward to IACP because I'll get to show off the epic things we've been working on. Expect a very exciting announcement at my presentation “Platforms, Not Products” on Monday, Oct. 26 at 8am. And the following day, I'll be discussing the rapidly changing pace of technology and what that means for protecting your data with Global Security Advisor Marc Goodman at “You Will Get Hacked” on Oct. 27 at 10am.
Then there's our booth—booth #5038, to be exact. I promise it will be a sight to behold.
While I'm of course interested in my stuff, I'm eager for some of the other sessions. “Chief Leadership Lessons: What We Must Learn, Unlearn, and Relearn” on Oct. 25 at 10am sounds like something everyone should go to, if possible. A real leader always is ready for change—and ready to change.
I'm not the only one here excited for the show. Expect a new post each day from a different member of the TASER team explaining which sessions they want to attend.
See you at IACP.
