How We Interview

Our mission to protect life and protect truth is what drives us. It's why we work hard, and it's what differentiates us. When you come in for an interview, you can expect to talk to a diverse group of people who all share a passion for and understanding of our products. The perfect candidate isn't just the one who can write the best code or make the best sales pitch. It's the one who is just as excited about our mission as we are, and has the raw talent to help us pursue it.

When interviewing at TASER, you can expect a process similar to this:

  • Resume Review: The recruiting team and hiring manager will review your resume, and if there is a match between skill set and interest we will reach out.
  • Phone Interview: Depending on the role, you can typically expect to speak with a member of our recruiting team, and if you move forward, a member of the business team. The nature of the interview can vary and we might throw some curve balls, but you'll get ample time to show your experience, your values, and/or your skills (like coding).
  • Interview Loop: Our on-site interviews can vary in length, but expect to have a chance to see where we work, what we do, and meet with a few different people.
  • Decision/Next Steps: Once the interview loops are done, we will come together, and get back to you on the decision or any additional steps needed.

Remember, interviewing is a two-way street. This is your chance to see if TASER is the type of company you can get behind, and in order to help you make that decision we want you to be ready to ask us questions as well. We're always happy to share our experiences.
